Blue Prism and the text analytics and cognitive computing company, Expert System have partnered to empower Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with cognitive capabilities.
The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms into RPA will offer the opportunity to improve labour efficiency and productivity, accomplishing higher levels of accuracy, and extend business automation to new strategic areas by automating tasks that once were reserved only for humans.

The integration of Cogito features (such as natural language processing, text analytics based on semantic analysis and machine learning) into the RPA platform designed by Blue Prism will help companies become more efficient by outperforming repetitive business processes based on the treatment of large volumes of unstructured information: text email and attachments, forms, record data, customers interactions and call notes, purchase orders, etc.
