November’s a Good Time to ReThink

2nd November, 2020

If there’s ever been a year when organisations have needed to stop and think again about their digital strategy, it’s been this one. As we head into the tail end of the year, we’ve all become used to meeting our colleagues and clients over Zoom or Teams – but what about our corporate digital strategy?business people final

This year, our partners at Proactis have put together their own digital offering with their free, three-day online event, Proactis ReThink ‘20, running from 10th – 12th November. Usually held as a physical event in London, of course this year that’s not been possible. But the team have put together a fantastic virtual programme, packed full of ideas and insights to challenge your existing strategy and understand why the ability to be agile and change direction quickly – underpinned by technology – is critical during uncertain times; and why Finance and Procurement must ‘unite’ to deliver great bottom-line value and help-future proof their organisations.

Putting people at the Heart of Your Project

But of course, getting to grips with a digital transformation project is never just about the technology. For anyone who’s ever tried to deliver a project without a change management plan, you’ll have learnt the hard way, that at the heart of any project lies your people. And often people don’t like change. So how can you convince them that stepping away from the status quo will be better for the company and for them professionally?

Joining ReThink to share her story, we’ll hear from a remarkable woman who stepped just about as far as anyone can – out into space. Helen Sharman OBE, the first British astronaut in space, will challenge us to seize the moment, embrace change and encourage us that incredible things can be achieved with planning, conviction and teamwork.

Your CEO Needs Visibility

But, even with the best planning in the world, it’s likely that global economic uncertainty will put a lot of pressure on organisations in 2021 and beyond and organisations will need to make time and efficiency savings wherever they can. Moving to a more digital environment will provide the visibility that CEOs are going to need to help them achieve that.

Jennifer Moran, Head of Procurement at Bright Horizons, and Jonty McNuff, Head of Business Transformation for British Land, will explain how they transformed their businesses spend control with P2P transformations. And, industry expert Chris Argent, Founder and Managing Director of GenerationCFO.com, will explore how Finance can, and must, lead the charge to future-proof their organisations.

The Future is Agile

But, it’s not just in finance. In the future, if your organisation is not looking across its processing from an end-to-end perspective, it’s one that’s going to get left behind. Across the three-day event, we’re going to be entertained by a series of discussions around Source-to-Pay, including a panel discussion with some of the top voices in the industry. Join in to find out why they think that, for the next generation of Procurement and Finance leaders, the future is going to be agile.

Network and Join in

Like you’d expect at a physical event, throughout the virtual conference there will be opportunities to chat with fellow attendees, hear customer stories, engage with speakers, and talk to both Sponsors and Proactis in their virtual Exhibition Hall.

You may not be able to mingle with a glass of wine after the event, but once you’ve enjoyed all the sessions, there’s nothing to stop you raising a glass in the comfort of your own home! See you there.
