Andrew Burgess - Director at Symphony Ventures
Andrew has been a management consultant for most of his 25-year career. He has worked on many major change projects, including strategic development, IT transformation and outsourcing, in a wide range of industries across four continents. As well as being an IT Director and CTO, he has run sourcing advisory firms and recently created and managed the robotics practice for one. He is considered an authority on innovative and disruptive sourcing, including Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Impact Sourcing, and is regularly invited to write and speak on these subjects.

With his record of successfully implementing SCF programs, he is well versed in all aspects of designing and implementing SCF from end to end. Recognised as one of the top thought leaders in the market, Michael is regularly invited to speak at international conferences. He possesses a Master’s degree in Information Technology and Economic Control. Michael has consulted to many multinational clients, such as Qinetiq, Heineken and Kingfisher, and he structured finance for Nestlé’s global supply chain.
Peter Loughlin - Managing Director, Purchasing Insight
Pete is a well-known voice in the industry and provides expert consultancy services in the fields of Purchase to Pay, including financial supply chain management, supply chain finance, e-invoicing and procurement. A former Head of Global P2P for Orange Business Services and a principal consultant for KPMG, Pete has that rare ability to cut through the noise and get to the heart of the key strategic issues. His insights are in demand at a wide variety of national and international conferences.
Michael Ryan - Director Finance Transformation & Shared Services
Michael Ryan is an experienced Finance Transformation Consultant with over 20 years experience in managing change. He has a unique blend of front line industry experience in addition to Big 4 Consulting background. Working on multiple Finance Transformation initiatives Michael specialises in Shared Services which arguably is the birthplace of the Global Process Owner role. Michael has worked across a number of industries including Telecoms, Media, Pharma and Manufacturing and has experienced a high degree of P2P impact on all his engagements.
